Trade Support/Shipping Executive

We are one of Asia’s largest palm oil producers with an annual capacity of 1 million tons and 160,000 hectares of land in the region. We are a major trading house in Vegetable Oils, Specialty Fats and other commodity derivatives. In view of the expansion, we aggressively recruit talents to be based in our Kuala Lumpur office.

Main Roles

• To support sales lead with timely and accurate information required to secure trades.
• To be a direct back up for sales lead and the next-in-line person for buyers to contact if sales lead is unavailable.
• To coordinate internal processes in fulfilling customers requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide updated price quotations and suitable delivery month to sales PIC for selected products.
• To manage process for discount approval when trades are to be done below the published prices.
• Timely reporting of trade done through WhatsApp and trade confirmation through email to buyer.
• Preparation of sales contract and sending of contract to buyers within stipulated timeframe.
• To ensure raw material, capacity and freight requirement are communicated to the relevant departments.
• Coordinate for sample requests where required.
• To coordinate with customers and internal department for artwork and PDR requirements.
• To prepare 3 months forecasts of sales volume for planning purposes.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in container shipment will be given advantage.
• Ability to multitask and good analytical skill.
• Good interpersonal skill and team player.
• Able to expose to international container shipping to India, South & Central Asia.
