Tour Operations Executive (Kota Kinabalu Branch)

We are looking for a Tour Operations Executive for our Kota Kinabalu Branch. Below are the requirements and responsibilities for the role:

Requirements:

  • At least SPM education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Travel industry.
  • Good follow-up skills and highly attentive to inquiries.
  • Comfortable working with computers and mobile phones for long hours.
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Willing to travel when necessary (company will provide allowance if necessary).
  • Location: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Responsibilities:

  • To deal with overseas DMC, accommodation, or cruise line principles.
  • To assist in making bookings in cruise line booking engines.
  • To assist in all aspects of tour operations, including itinerary planning, costings, air tickets, ground arrangements, attractions, and other day-to-day activities.
  • To assist in flight booking through the GDS system (Travelport, Saber, and Amadeus).
  • To compile and maintain records of business transactions to ensure all documentation is properly filed.
  • Recording orders for all related tour services.
  • To provide full support for tour package sales and departures.
  • To educate customers and partners on products, destination knowledge, and provide all relevant customer support.
  • To participate in all fieldwork, including airport duties and travel fairs.
