TOUR CONSULTANT

About the role

We are seeking a TOUR CONSULTANT to join our dynamic team at AL ILMI TRAVEL & TOURS. In this full-time role based in Ampang Selangor, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients plan and book their trips. The job description generally includes a variety of responsibilities focused on customer service, trip planning, and sales.

What you'll be doing

• Understand client's travel preferences and provide expert advice on destinations, travel regulations, budget, and requirements.
• Recommend suitable accommodations, activities, tours, and transportation options.
• Address any questions, concerns, or special requests from clients.
• Maintain records of client interactions and bookings.
• Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and new packages.
• Prepare and send travel-related documents (itinerary, tickets, etc.) to clients.

What we're looking for

• Relevant diploma in tourism or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Passionate about travel and exploration
• Attention to detail and proactive in handling client needs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
