We are representing our client, a premier seafood restaurant offering exquisite flavours from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
Job position: Thai Sous Chef
Work Location: Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in menu development and kitchen management.
- Supervise food preparation and ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
- Assist in staff training and performance evaluation.
- Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a Thai kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary certification is a plus.
