Test Operations Manager

Job Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding semiconductor company in Selangor. They are currently seeking to hire a Test Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting to the GM, this Test Operations Manager will be responsible for driving productivity and excellence across the four key areas:
2. Planning:
   1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve operational objectives and meet production targets.
   2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth integration of planning activities.
   3. Monitor and adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand and capacity.
3. Production:
   1. Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
   2. Implement best practices in production management to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
   3. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Engineering:
   1. Lead engineering teams in developing and optimizing testing and burn-in processes.
   2. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
   3. Ensure the implementation of advanced technologies and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities.
5. Maintenance:
   1. Manage maintenance activities to keep all equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
   2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
   3. Ensure quick response and resolution of maintenance issues to minimize production impact.

Skills & Experience Required

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a similar role within the semiconductor industry, with a strong background in probing and final test/backend test processes.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse teams.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
