Territory Sales Manager – Sports Medicine

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for Sports Medicine at Avana Medical Devices is responsible for channel management, people management, market expansion, customer engagement, and supporting surgical cases (if required). This role involves actively promoting sports medicine products, building strong relationships with surgeons, physiotherapists, and hospitals, and ensuring sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve sales targets in the assigned territory through effective sales strategies.
  2. Promote Sports Medicine products to surgeons, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals in alignment with company guidelines.
  3. Identify and develop new markets while maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  4. Manage and support the distribution network, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations.
  5. Responsible for personal order booking from channel partners.
  6. Ensure timely collections from channel partners as per company norms.
  7. Attend surgeries (if required) to provide product assistance and strengthen customer relationships.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data in the CRM system.
  9. Provide regular reports to the National Sales Manager on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
  10. Engage in outstation travel as required for business development.

Education & Experience:

  1. Graduate with 8-12 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, or surgical medical devices.
  2. Preferred qualifications: B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc. Nursing, or MBA.
  3. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a result-oriented approach.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting relationships with customers.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% travel within the assigned territory.
