Tender Executive Cum Procurement

Role Description

1. Responsible to handle full spectrum of RFQ, tender/pre-screening registration, tender status update, bid assessment, tender correspondence, material sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labor cost used in tendering process.
2. Responsible for post bid submission activities, which include tender commercial clarification response, tender clarification meeting, tender techno-commercial and commercial negotiation meeting.
3. Ensure supplier selection and material(s) planned is/are purchased to meet targeted quality, competitive price and just on time delivery conform to quality, cost and delivery.
4. Compile, organize and update relevant tender data promptly in database to ensure all data retrieved for comparison is always up to date.
5. Able to prepare monthly cost analysis reports and database with recommendations.
6. Regularly and proactively source for local and overseas new suppliers/vendors for better quality products, payment terms and price based on customer’s requirements.
7. Familiar with vendor system (CIDB, TNB, PETRONAS etc.).
8. Conduct purchasing activity and maintain relationship with supplier (PO, PR, QTN).
9. Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials and services from both local and overseas vendors.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
• Minimum Three (3) years’ experience in related field.
• Must have initiative, team worker and be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Familiar with vendor system (CIDB, TNB, PETRONAS etc.).
• Comfortable in dealing with people; good communication skills.
