Temporary FP&A Analyst / Senior FP&A Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic accounting professional to join our Company on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be exposed to various areas in Finance: Financial Accounting, Business Law/Contracts, Procurement, Project Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance.

We seek an individual with excellent people skills, numerical skills, and a winning attitude to become a successful finance business partner to our core operational team members. Our work environment is fast-paced and not for the faint-hearted. You will be coached and mentored to grow within the organization. While this is a temporary position, you will receive coaching and mentorship to develop your skills throughout your tenure with us.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Finance:

1. Assist the Finance Manager in client finance operations, including reviewing agreements, project budgeting, margin assessment, project database management, billings, payments, work-in-progress tracking, intercompany transactions, and support for tenders/RFPs/RFQs.
2. Support revenue recognition assessments for client projects during month-end closing.
3. Monitor and review client contribution margins and over-servicing, collaborating with the business team to address project-specific financial issues.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

1. Assist the Finance Manager with preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast.
2. Consolidate financial data and provide accurate projections.
3. Analyze budget vs. actuals and provide variance analysis with key insights.
4. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial models and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
