Technician (Overhaul Repair) - FRESH GRAD, 8 vacancies monthly until Jul 2025
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex assembly functions utilizing mechanical skills, electronics, pneumatic, hydraulic tools, assembly fixtures, and test equipment.
- Understand product & process drawings, procedures, techniques, symbols, and quality requirements.
- Assemble all fuel nozzles to customer requirements as per standards and CMM.
- Inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specifications and CMM.
- Interpret and record all test results on the data sheet.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
- Reduce throughput time and increase efficiency.
Maintenance:
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
- Assist with any disassembly, assembly, and test functions as workload requires.
- Coordinate and assist in the training of less experienced personnel.
- Observe all safety rules, regulations, and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
- Maintain good housekeeping within and around the designated work area.
- Perform equipment Autonomous Maintenance as per schedule and maintain required equipment efficiency.
- Train and certify new technicians as required.
- Other job functions assigned by Production Supervisor/Cell Team Leader/Production Engineer/Production Manager.
Others:
- Participate in Lean Kaizen / High Performance Team (HPT) activities.
- Support Production Team in organization and documentation of ISO9001, ISO14001, and other related standards.
- Other job functions assigned by Production Supervisor/Production Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- SPM/Diploma/Advance Diploma/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Aviation) or equivalent.
- 1-2 years experience in assembly, testing, and tool room operations is an advantage.
- Able to read, write, and converse in English (Mandatory).
- Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- FRESH GRADUATE (DIPLOMA) ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
Must demonstrate manual dexterity. Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications. Familiar with all tool room measuring instruments. Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player. Strong advocate and support for Parker's Lean manufacturing programs and activities. Strong advocate and support for Parker's HPT activities.
