Technician (Machinery)

We are looking for a hands-on, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our operations team and take responsibility for the upkeep and servicing of our custom-built machinery. Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on a range of custom-designed production machines.
2. Respond to and resolve machine breakdowns in a timely and effective manner to minimize production downtime.
3. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or control issues using technical manuals and schematics.
4. Liaise with external vendors or engineers for complex repairs or upgrades when needed.
5. Assist in setting up new machines and modifying equipment to improve performance or productivity.
6. Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks and machine history.
7. Follow all safety protocols and ensure machines operate within compliance and quality standards.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
2. Experience working with custom, semi-automated or automated machinery is a strong advantage.
3. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
4. Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
6. Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours when required, including emergency breakdown response.
