Job DescriptionJOB REQUIREMENTS:- Diploma in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Computer or Software
- Understanding of electronics. Knowledge in photonics and optical transceivers are an advantage.
- With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information and data.
- Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in electronics.
- Familiarity with test instruments (Splicers, Multimeters, Power meters, optical switches etc)
- Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred.
- Experience in performing fiber splicing is an added advantage.
- Can work independently and work with support teams as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Supporting on Production and NPI programs of ROADM products. Support Product Engineer to investigate manufacturing issues related to Assembly and Test processes and identify problem; implement solutions and report their findings to Engineers.
- Assists engineers in yield improvements, projects, evaluation, and qualification.
- Help to monitor the product yield and sustainability.
- Provide debug disposition on daily fallout modules and improve debug accuracy.
- Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork.
- Support for PE evaluations, projects and analysis.
- BOM cost improvements evaluations (over temp).
- Test time reduction projects.
- Prime Yield improvement.
- Support and confirm OBA failure and analysis.
- Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources.
- Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
- Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
