Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Diploma in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Computer or Software
2. Understanding of electronics. Knowledge in photonics and optical transceivers are an advantage.
3. With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information and data.
4. Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in electronics.
5. Familiarity with test instruments (Splicers, Multimeters, Power meters, optical switches etc)
6. Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred.
7. Experience in performing fiber splicing is an added advantage.
8. Can work independently and work with support teams as needed.

Job Responsibilities

1. Supporting on Production and NPI programs of ROADM products. Support Product Engineer to investigate manufacturing issues related to Assembly and Test processes and identify problem; implement solutions and report their findings to Engineers.
2. Assists engineers in yield improvements, projects, evaluation, and qualification.
3. Help to monitor the product yield and sustainability.
4. Provide debug disposition on daily fallout modules and improve debug accuracy.
5. Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork.
6. Support for PE evaluations, projects and analysis.
7. BOM cost improvements evaluations (over temp).
8. Test time reduction projects.
9. Prime Yield improvement.
10. Support and confirm OBA failure and analysis.
11. Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources.
12. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
13. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
14. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
