Technician

• Responsible for completing all repair works and services as per repair orders
• Responsible for providing timely assistance to co-technician
• Diagnose, repair and maintain BMW vehicles in accordance with BMW standard
• Promote and attain BMW standards for superior workmanship

Major Accountabilities

• Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with BMW standards
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs
• Examine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included in the repair order

Communicate to Service Advisor

• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts
• Inform Service Advisor immediately if additional tasks are required: If tasks outlined in the repair order are not required, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised
• Clearly and accurately document all work performed
• Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
• Follow BMW guidelines and standards at all times
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of work areas; be able to account for all BMW Centre-owned tools at all times
• Dependability to complete tasks on schedule; accept accountability for work results.
• Understand and follow all safety rules and guidelines.
• Accept additional or different tasks when circumstances change (e.g., emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs, new technologies)
• Learn and apply new information, tools and technologies without expending excessive resources or time

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/'O' Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, in any field.
• Must have at least 2-3 years of repair experience for BMW / Continental cars is preferable for this position.
• Must be willing to work in SETIA ALAM/KLANG.
