Technical Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a talented Technical Sales Manager for a European MNC that specializes in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) services and industrial supplies distribution.

Reporting to: Business Development Manager

Location: Selangor OR Penang

The Role

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, or utilizing existing contacts.
• Assess current sales performance within existing accounts and create strategies to boost sales revenue.
• Provide support for sales-related technical inquiries and offer necessary technical assistance.
• Review customers’ RFQs and their technical specifications.
• Conduct regular visits to potential customers.
• Assist in the review of tender and quotation documents.
• Lead presentations, proposals, and plans when required.
• Monitor sales, analyze data and trends, produce accurate reports on existing and new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular service performance and business reviews, and initiate improvements for your portfolio.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales training or experience.
• Has worked in a technical or engineering background.
• Availability for regular business travel.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills.
