Responsible to carry out sales activities. Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients, generating leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Application Manager to develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations that align with customer needs and requirements.
Responsible to carry out technical support for the sales team, including cold calls, making appointments, client liaison/correspondence, and closing sales deals. Follow up with clients and resolve any issues that may arise.
Conduct site surveys and data gathering (including existing plant specifications and working conditions) for proposal preparation.
Coordinate to attend project site issues and troubleshoot equipment.
Prepare and review technical proposals/quotations.
Work cross-functionally within the organization to optimize both technical and commercial proposals in support of the sales team meeting their sales targets.
Conduct market intelligence. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to anticipate customer needs and proactively identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
Directly responsible for all marketing activities (catalogues, presentations, exhibitions, etc.).
Prepare monthly forecasts, reports, and project update reports.
