Maintain, enhance and optimize the network infrastructure in Data Centre Projects.
Advise to develop and implement IT disaster recovery strategy to protect IT infrastructure and minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a disaster.
Assist the operation teams to perform periodic file maintenance and data backup for all systems.
Lead to train operations team for the Facilities operations procedure to achieve target SLA.
Support the operations team to provide first-line support to end users, answer enquiries and resolve technical issues.
Implement and manage energy/cost-saving initiatives in the Data Centre.
Attend meetings arranged by the government or stakeholders related to operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
Experienced in data centre facility, IT Infrastructure/Operations, and network fault recovery, etc. will be an advantage.
A degree in Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. Professional qualification from recognized professional bodies is preferred (e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, RICS, HKIS, IFMA, IMechE & IEE).
A minimum of 10 years of facilities or property experience, with at least five years at a managerial level, and conversant with building, building services, mechanical and electrical engineering technology.
Outstanding technical skills and experience in leading/managing complex building operations, maintenance, and asset upkeep.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Technical Manager.
High proficiency in both spoken and written English.
