What you will do
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of AMI Operations as a member of the AMI Data Processing team, the Technical Lead, Data Processing is expected to significantly contribute to ensuring the highest quality services of the Data Processing team globally.
The Technical Lead, Data Processing will be pivotal in helping the domain achieve its ambitions by overseeing the performance of global Data Processing teams who will be responsible for the creation of cross-tabulations, data files, dashboards, and performance of data checks for Applied Marketing Insight Domain (AMI) clients.
- Instar: Meeting the primary market research needs of pharmaceutical company market research teams.
- Medefield: Offering fielding services to full-service market research agencies.
- RxY: Offering syndicated market research services.
- Ensure that Data Processing processes are aligned with the Domain’s strategic goals supporting top-line growth and margin improvement ambitions.
- Ensure that tools, processes, and systems are adequate to successfully deliver all studies globally.
- Ensure efficient processes are in place for the Data Processing to work with internal operations functions, such as Research Managers, Project Directors, Survey Programming, Quality Control, and Coding, and work with functional managers in improving processes.
- Ensure the tools used by the Data Processing department are adequate and suggest improvements/changes to the Senior VP and VP of AMI Operations to improve team efficiency.
- Develop and update Data Processing best practices and standards that are both internal and client-specific.
- Ensure that the quality of the deliverables is meeting our internal as well as client standards.
- Ensure timelines are competitive and in line with client expectations.
- Ensure that Data Processing teams are compliant with our standard timelines.
- Ensure optimal team performance and operational delivery by analyzing key project metrics and making recommendations on how to improve.
- Define requirements, test, and implement important automation solutions to support efficiency objectives.
- Ensure adherence to business rules and best practices for all project delivery.
- Develop team members in terms of technical expertise, efficiency, operational management, and client servicing.
- Assist Sales Consultants, Project Directors, and Research Management teams with the preparation of project proposals.
- Provide Data Processing consultancy as needed to our Project Director and Research Management teams and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Senior Instar team on defining Data Processing requirements for new commercial offerings including improvements to existing ones.
- Ensure we have proper systems in place allowing for the measurement of performance concerning project delivery (on specifications, timeline, and budget).
- Work with the Director, Data Services and Senior VP to plan, define, and update service levels and measure their success.
- Ensure team members communicate clearly and promptly with internal and external clients and provide a positive experience throughout the project’s life cycle.
- Ensure our ‘Top Priority Clients’ are serviced with the highest standards from all aspects of delivery.
- Establish relationships with external Data Processing suppliers to fill in technical gaps not supported internally.
- Deliverables delivered on specifications, on budget, and on time, as documented in Quickbase.
- Increase NPS score of Data Processing team globally to 60+.
- Timely deployment of regular improvements to tools and processes to improve team efficiency.
- Maximize resource utilization by optimal work planning and resource allocation and operating at optimal staffing levels.
