Technical Assistant, Mechanical (Alor Setar, Kedah)

Job Responsibilities

1. Records, monitors and distributes service work (SW) and service request (SR) to subordinates and contract staff (contract vendors) under its control as stated in SOP MCS (management controls system).
2. Records and ensures that daily log sheet data in the Plant Room is taken by the staff on duty and updated in the ASIS Engineering Operation Data (EOD).
3. Carry out repair work according to Schedule / Unscheduled Maintenance, especially on assets or facility systems that require expertise.
4. Request order of goods in accordance with SW / SR requirements, monitor progress of works done by the vendors and verify invoices for the payment process for the work done by vendors.
5. Carry out 'Testing & Commissioning' and update status Asset Register Form.
6. Assist and provide technical feedback to TE / FHE / FM for maintenance work requiring vendor expertise and monitoring the work done.
7. Provide Technical Report (TA) and reimbursable work (RW).
8. Ensure that the Plant Room, Workshop and maintenance equipment are in good condition and safe according to the work safety act.

Job Requirements

1. Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma
2. At least 1 - 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Independent and adept at working in groups, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
