To perform inspection, repair, maintenance and upgrading on equipment related to utilities such as electric substation and also troubleshooting high voltage (11KV) equipment.
To ensure that all the electrical systems and installations in the University are complied with all relevant bylaws and regulations.
To check and maintain all substations, generators, switchboards and distribution boards.
Monitor the incoming power supply, responding to electrical & mechanical breakdowns and performing troubleshooting as and when necessary.
Manage and supervise technicians, wiremen, vendors and contractors.

Job Requirements:

SPM/SPVM or its equivalent.
Applicants with Chargeman (B0) certificate are preferred.
Candidate must fulfill all HT chargeman duties as specified by Suruhanjaya Tenaga and the Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447) and Energy Commission Act 2001.
