Job Responsibilities:

As a Tech Risk & Compliance Officer, this junior position offers valuable hands-on experience into the intricate world of Technology Compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with audit related tasks.
  • Communicate audit requirements to internal IT staff.
  • Conduct IT compliance reviews, identifying gaps and non-compliance.
  • Perform scheduled tasks such as monthly document compilation and periodic record updates.
  • Continuously monitor IT audit requirements and practices across the organization.
  • Review and clean up IT policies, procedures, and guidelines for consistency, relevance, and proper classification.
  • Follow up with other departments and update compliance status.
  • Ability to collaborate with another department.
  • Organize tasks meticulously and ensure strong follow-ups.
  • Handling of documents to maintain tidiness.
  • Demonstrate strong documentation skills and the ability to articulate clearly.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks that are assigned by team lead or team manager.

Pre-Requisites

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology/Security or equivalent. (candidates with relative level of related experience will be considered).
  • Ideally, candidates should have 1-2 years of working experience in the field of compliance or a related area.
  • Understanding the mechanics of engaging with an auditor to perform audit is an added advantage.
  • Prerequisite basic knowledge on Risk Assessment, IT Security, Technical IT skill.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or other certification bodies is an added advantage.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA, CISA, or similar credentials are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with basic Information Technology knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in i-City, Shah Alam.
