About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to join RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for managing reporting, account opening, and KYC/ODD processes for private mandates and family offices. Responsibilities include performing reconciliations for stocks, unit trust funds, and mandates, ensuring timely client reporting, and maintaining static data. The role requires strong stakeholder management, leading teams, and driving operational improvements while ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk standards.


What You Will Be Doing

  1. Expertise in documentation processes and activities related to KYC, ODD related to mandates
  2. Timely and complete reconciliation and resolution of breaks for stock for and cash for mandates and stock for unit trust funds
  3. Monitor the static data maintenance of mandates
  4. Timely and accurate client reporting for mandates
  5. Possess strong stakeholder management and engagement skills to be a liaison point for all internal and external stakeholders
  6. Review and improve on policies, guidelines, work processes, operations manual/procedure, documents etc to strengthen the monitoring and controls, smoothen the operational flows or improve the business support services and alignment to the relevant Group policies and guidelines.
  7. Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk and compliance requirements
  8. Balance resource allocation among teams based on demand and priorities
  9. Take the lead in service review meetings with Trustees, Nominees, outsource service providers as well as other stakeholders.
  10. Continuously drive improvements and enhancements to operational efficiency.
  11. Support implementation of initiatives and take the lead on the Fund Accounting/Valuation system change project. Ensure no slippage on timelines and completion of actions.
  12. Ensure team members follow the standards and practices of their functional expertise.
  13. Ensure timely and accurate publication of NAV of both Unit trust funds as well as private mandates at all times.
  14. Ensure all audit queries (internal and external) are attended to promptly
  15. Provide cross support to other teams and sections within RHBAM Operations where required.
  16. Help empower the team to work independently and self-manage.

What We're Looking For

  1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration; or
  2. Professional accounting qualification or in any related fields
  3. 8-10 years’ experience in asset management, financial services or related fields
  4. Proficiency in MS Office applications
  5. Knowledge in portfolio management system is an added advantage.
  6. Good planning and organizational skills.
