Team Leader
ETI Content Operations, Asia
The purpose of this role is for production team management to ensure daily maintenance can be completed with high standard of data quality, completed all projects successfully based on the roadmap. Develop each team member based on their characters to eventually keep a strong team.
DEPARTMENT ROLE
- Lead team(s) to provide Exchange content in a timely, complete and accurate manner according to business requirements.
- Provide timely and effective response, prioritising optimally to meet the needs of the business.
- To stay on top of daily market and operational activities and ensure timely communications to team(s) and relevant partners.
- Communicate optimally with other teams, globally and within Asia, sharing knowledge and embedded standard process.
- Ambassador for the team(s) on specific issues when needed and participate in projects as required.
- Develop team members based on their strength to build a strong team. Build and encourage team culture to be efficient and innovative.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Meet business requirements of key stakeholders (content, product and support groups), in alignment with Global Content Strategy.
- Responsible for prioritisation, planning and managing of one or more teams.
- Meet Global ETI Content Service and Quality targets in an effective manner.
- Adhere to and implement company policies and procedures.
- Lead teams (can be remote teams) to ensure that production unit uses all available resources within financial targets to meet customer and operational targets.
- Sustained and enhanced operational output consistent through change.
- Find opportunities for improvement to improve resources and increase customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the appropriate recruitment, training and management of employees to achieve high professional operational standards.
- Ensure department is successful and achieves business plan objectives working with other departmental managers to establish further goals for Data.
- Call out issues appropriately.
- Completes the vision that is set by the company and manager.
- Makes recommendations that may shape operational strategy.
- Forecasts resource needs and handles allocated budget.
- Sets goals with established business objectives; uses time and people effectively to meet business plans.
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems of a moderately complex nature.
- Adapts traditional approaches to enhance existing procedures to resolve issues.
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan of sub-business unit or sub-function.
EDUCATION- College Graduate or above.
- Fluent in English.
- Second Asian language skill is an advantage.
COMPETENCIES- Ability to motivate, develop and support staff, some may be located remotely.
- Management of regional data operations, procedures, development and data contribution to product development/support.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
- Knowledge and understanding of ETI content, preference given to candidates with Real Time/IDN/ERT/NDA experience.
- Adaptability to changes in business strategy resulting from evolving client demands.
- Highly motivated by departmental and company goals.
- Previous supervisory experience in data management.
- Managing costs within set budget including headcount.
- Analysis, evaluation and assessment of regional business activities.
- Supply to regional business plan and implement within own unit.
- Ensure continuous improvement, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
