The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate clients (Sarawak) including evaluating their loan applications, conducting credit reviews, marketing and cross-selling a wide range of banking products and services.
- Drive business, manage risk, monitor overall facility utilization and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, establish clear, measurable goals for the team, set performance standards and communicate expectations for work quality, timelines, and behavior.
- Build rapport and develop meaningful networking to maintain account relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship.
- Identify clients’ needs and capture new financing and/or cross-selling opportunities; negotiate for best margins to optimize profitability.
- Deliver both in terms of speed and quality for all KPIs assigned.
- Ensure accuracy on customer due diligence (“CDD”) and Know Your Customer (“KYC”).
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, finance, etc.) is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a corporate sales background within a financial services company, preferably with leadership experience.
- Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering professional and personal growth.
- Strong business acumen, proactive, and a highly motivated self-starter.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
