About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Finance Team in APMEA North DRBU, based at our GBS Centre in Malaysia. As a Team Lead - Planning & Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering accurate financial information (Budget, Forecast, and Actual results) in line with Group accounting principles. This role will support various key areas within the Corporate Finance Team, including monthly and ad-hoc forecasting requirements related to Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an independent contributor for a component of the Record to Report function inclusive of Reconciliations, Month End Close, Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management reporting, data integrity, and quality.
• Perform specific tasks allocated by the line manager in the area of integrity, quality, and reasonableness of the management and statutory reporting process, which includes QPR and QTR reporting exercises.
• Assistance in preparation of various submissions of the management reporting unit as well as legal entity reporting requirements as per the set SLA's and with the frequency set by the IBPM process.
• Identify material movements based on pre-established template.
• Perform analytical review to ensure the movements vs. previous periods or vs. the previous forecast make sense.
• Liaise with Treasury Team on hedging processes and BATCASH submission.
• Support to achieving the monthly goals.
• Ensuring compliance with SOX controls and control navigator and delivering ad hoc reports to support management decision-making, where required.

What We Offer

Requirements

• Education: Accounting or Accounting & Finance (Either one with professional qualification preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years.
• Understanding of accounting process and practice.
• Relevant financial skills and knowledge.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable in identifying risk and implementing controls.

Preferred Qualifications

• A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, including BI, BPC & SAP.
