Key Responsibilities
- Implement action plans to achieve set goals and revenue targets for A&T compliance services.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and projects and lead teams to deliver services effectively, such as accounting and tax services.
- Conduct a high-level review on all the deliverable, reports and other files before submission to client.
- Train A&T team members on the latest accounting standard and tax updates, and its issues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop team with the skills to conduct meetings and reports presentation with clients.
- Review all correspondences & meeting minutes drafted/prepared by staff.
- Perform high level review in ensuring all tasks are performed by staff in accordance with instructions and timelines.
- Resolve A&T issues expediently to avoid work disruption.
- Manage the performance of team through regular communication, feedback, performance review and coaching.
- Conduct monthly performance meetings with the team as well as to resolve issues raised.
- Evaluate ways to improve the workflow and efficiency of the Accounting & tax department.
Key Requirements
- Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity environment
- Previous experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model will be advantage
- Previous experience in managing / leading teams (Accounting/Reporting) at least 3-4 years
- Good knowledge of accounting, GAAP, corporate practices; IFRS knowledge will be an asset
- MS Office literacy; Workday Financials or other ERP systems as beneficial.
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)
- University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance or Economics as beneficial
- Proactive and engaged attitude;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Continuous improvement mindset and process orientation and a solution orientated work approach
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve conflict in an effective and timely manner.
