Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
• Managing a group of team members working for Loan Administration and Payments.
• Drive internal reviews to ensure controls and procedures are updated and fully compliant with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Accountable for ensuring all regional regulatory reports are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and all reporting policies are adhered to and attested.
• Ensure processing is timely, accurate, efficient, and within the prescribed authorized limit.
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations – an efficient and effective distribution of transactions/workloads amongst the team members to ensure that the productivity standards are duly met.
• Detailed knowledge of Loan Administration and Payment processes.
• In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of Loan Administration and Payments, governing rules, and any other related policies that may come into effect from time to time, industry standards, internal bank policies, local and international landscape.
• Responsible for guiding, motivating, and developing team members.
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are observed, and efforts are aligned to meet the required expectations – deliver high-quality services to our business partners, adherence to SLA and TAT, while maintaining process efficiency, accuracy standards, productivity levels, quality & control measures, and people management.
• Constantly review team’s and individual performance together with the Head of Department against the objectives and goals set. Develop strategies and provide appropriate support, guidance, and motivation to the staff to reach its goal.
• Support and assist the Management in managing operational risk within the respective teams to avoid risks.
• Initiate and streamline processes relating to controls, productivity, and service enhancement.
• Identify and resolve business technical issues with the system support group. Escalate issues to the Team Head where attention and senior intervention are required.
• Communicate clear instructions to team members.
• Monitor, track, and evaluate transaction volumes, key controls, functional checks, and provide daily/weekly/monthly analysis as appropriate to the Team Head or any other unit.
• Ensure staff are equipped with sufficient needs, knowledge, skills, and tools in order to achieve the required level of competency that facilitates them to perform their daily tasks effectively.
• Participate in system testing to implement global strategy and fulfill business needs as and when required.
• Support Department Head and management in all initiatives for the betterment of the organization.
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
• Responsible for ensuring team’s performance is within the department’s target range/acceptable level.

Qualifications

Requirement:
• At least possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in finance relevant studies.
• Min 6 years of working experience in Loan Administration AND 4 years experience in managing/coordinating a team.
• Working experience in banking or finance shared service industry.
• Advanced knowledge of Loan Administration, Market Operations, and Securities environment.
• Experience with Loan IQ system, Summit, Oracle OBI, MS Office Suite, Easy Match, IMS, jGPS, Phoenix, Broadridge OR Fedwire.
• Experience in various operational functions which may include pre-trade management, trade processing, loan admin, securities services, settlement, and project management.
• Capacity to take full ownership of tasks whilst displaying a mature and confident approach with all stakeholders.
• Familiar with business principles, operating guidelines, and standard rules.
• Familiar with Compliance, Sanction, and Regulatory policies.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Business Intelligence Tools.
• Willing to learn new things.
