About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher/Learning Facilitator/Child Therapist to join our team at Happy Sheep Psychology & Education Service in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional educational and therapeutic support to children with diverse needs.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering engaging, child-centred learning activities to support the educational and developmental needs of children
• Providing one-on-one or small group therapy sessions to help children with special needs, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges
• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education and therapy plans
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of children's progress and needs
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching and therapy techniques
• Contributing to the overall wellbeing and growth of the children in your care

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or child psychology/therapy
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or learning difficulties
• Strong understanding of child development, behaviour management, and evidence-based teaching and therapy methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the growth and wellbeing of children
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
