Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a TCGM Assistant Engineer located in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. As a TCGM Assistant Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include assisting with daily operation, HWM and maintenance. Additionally, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain smooth operation that complies with safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Safe handling of loading and unloading activities of chemical deliveries from external warehouse.
2. Assisting and executing chemical charge-in activities for all related Chemical Distribution Modules, Chemical Manifold Boxes, Valve Manifold Boxes, Wet bench and tools.
3. Maintaining good housekeeping at Chemical room and TCGM control room.
4. Maintaining all tools or equipment for chemical sampling, analysis or testing in good order and condition.
5. Ensuring all chemical distribution systems are continuously supplying.
6. Monitoring all operations for chemicals distribution systems.
7. Monitoring, planning, controlling, and executing the schedule & non-schedule maintenance, spare part chemical system.
8. Reporting any abnormalities to Engineer and Coordinator.
9. Meeting the KPI and all legal requirements at site and client.
10. Maintaining day-to-day operations to ensure they move smoothly.
11. Ensuring an injury-free environment by maintaining zero accidents, zero incidents, and zero environmental accidents.
12. Providing support to departmental operations.
13. Providing leadership support in maintaining on-site bulk chemical supply, chemicals distribution and control system engineering support to client’s operations department.
14. Maintaining and organizing documentation through ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, managing safety programs, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory safety requirements.
15. Effectively supporting the organization’s stakeholders/users in Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
16. Ensuring all related processes for TCGM for the Quality Management Systems (QMS) are established, implemented, and maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess minimum a Diploma/Degree in engineering/others with at least 1 - 3 years of related working experience or fresh graduate in chemical and logistics.

The Assistant Engineer shall have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

1. Other applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
2. Preparation of service reports and documentation.
3. Electrical, mechanical, instrument, electronic and Environment Health and Safety.
4. Conducting internal or external training on Environment Health and Safety.
5. Familiar with Emergency Response Team (ERT) responsibilities.
6. Attended safety training in approved government agencies such as NIOSH is an added advantage.
7. Knowledge in 8D report presentation, FMEA, and Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).
8. Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2008 auditing and certification process.
9. Attended professional training on scheduled waste management system handling with professional and recognized organizations.
10. Knowledge in scheduled waste management system.
11. Familiar with DOE rules and regulations.
