We are looking for Tax Seniors to join our growing Tax team. As we win new clients and promote within, we are looking for an ambitious Tax Senior to deliver personalised attention and quality service to our clients.

About the role:

Our professionals are thought of as leaders providing personalized attention and quality service to our clients. By joining our Tax department, you will work closely with our leadership team and fellow tax professionals providing our clients with the skills, information and knowledge to take on some of the biggest challenges in taxation. This opportunity will allow you to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations as a strategic consultant related to local and global tax solutions. The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently handle simple tax engagements such as planning, performing and reviewing straightforward tax compliance work.
  2. Prepare client’s annual tax filing information, including Form 1120PC, 1120L, 5471, 8858, 1065, Schedule K-1/K-3, and other domestic and foreign reporting whilst ensuring accuracy and timely preparation to meet deadlines, ensuring the file is completed to a high standard before submission for review, clearly highlighting any issues and endeavours to exceed client expectations. Tax accounting review and completing reporting requirement under ASC 740 to ensure accurate, timely and complete filing of CIMA reporting.
  3. Direct interaction with the client and their administrators to prepare annual filings and provide other ad-hoc services.
  4. Resolve queries on tax issues from clients or the tax authority and assist in tax dispute resolution.
  5. Work closely with the Tax manager and tax associate on tax deliverables and ensure the timely completion of work and nurture ongoing relationships with clients.
  6. Draft responses for clients with more complex tax filings.
  7. Be involved in preparing tax returns, data collation and analysis, managing all tax compliance work and monitoring tax payment and refunds.
  8. Review tax risk profile of the client or organisation and make recommendations.
  9. Prepare complex tax computations and tax returns accurately.
  10. Constantly develop your understanding of current tax developments and industry trends.
  11. Collaborate with a tight-knit team of highly qualified tax professionals.
  12. Other duties may be assigned as required by business needs.

About you:

We are looking for Tax Seniors with a minimum 2-4 years relevant United States partnership tax experience to join our fast-growing team, in addition to this the candidate must possess the following:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics is required.
  2. Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent, Member of the Bar, Master of Taxation or active pursuit of the aforementioned is preferred.
  3. Progressive Tax Compliance and/or Tax Consulting experience required.
  4. Must be currently employed as Tax Senior/Senior Tax Associate.
  5. Experience in Public Accounting a plus.
  6. Possessing an accreditation from the Chartered Tax Professionals a plus.
  7. Other languages would be advantageous but not required.
