Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for the smooth running of Collections System and involve in projects for continuous improvement to ensure efficient prevention and recovery process in Collections.

Financial

  1. Participate/Lead Collections related projects to ensure Collections processes are aligned with the bank processes and for continuous improvement to ensure efficient prevention and recovery processes.

Compliance

  1. Perform exception report checking to mitigate irregularities in the system flow.
  2. System compliance: conduct Disaster Recovery Test, Business Continuity Test, Risk and Controls Self-Assessment, etc.
  3. Responsible for keeping an updated inventory for System ID & Licenses.

Processes

  1. Ensure smooth operation of Collections systems.
  2. Raise to IT for any system defects/issues and follow through until item is closed.
  3. Perform critical daily tasks.
  4. Data extraction.
  5. Ad-hoc SMS blast.
  6. Monitor system for Batch Run, Letter, SMS, Agency & Solicitor Assignment, Reports, Bulk Upload, etc.
  7. Set up and maintain parameters to align with department needs and ensure System Manual is regularly updated with any changes in production.
  8. Conduct User Acceptance Test for system fixes or enhancements. Document all test results.
  9. Assist/conduct system training for Collections staff when required.

Human Capital

  1. Take on ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by Unit Head / HOD.

Skill Sets / Experiences:

  1. Able to work in a team and work towards performance excellence.
  2. Possess strong communications and negotiation skills.
  3. Possess good interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to manage the implementation of major enhancements and/or projects end-to-end.
  5. Ensure quality and delivery of enhancements/projects on time and within the allocated budget.
  6. Possess strong process and workflow management skills.
  7. Resolve issues and manage expectations.
  8. Prepare functional/user requirement and test scripts for system enhancement.

Experience & Qualifications

  1. Good technical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Good understanding of system development life cycle process or project management and/or Collections processes would be an advantage.
  3. Positive attitude together with initiative, and able to work independently.
  4. Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in SQL will be an advantage.
