Job description

FatHopes Energy is seeking a passionate and highly analytical Sustainability Lead to drive research on global sustainability initiatives, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering insights, identifying opportunities, and advocating for FatHopes Energy’s sustainability initiatives. This role requires strong research capabilities, communication skills, and the ability to translate findings into impactful recommendations and advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth research on global sustainability trends, policies, and initiatives related to renewable energy, circular economy, and carbon reduction.
  2. Monitor evolving regulations, certifications (such as ISCC), ESG standards, and compliance requirements.
  3. Analyze data and provide insights on how emerging sustainability trends can impact or benefit FatHopes Energy’s business and operational strategies.
  4. Act as an advocate for FatHopes Energy’s sustainability efforts, engaging with stakeholders, industry forums, and regulatory bodies to highlight the company’s achievements.
  5. Prepare reports, white papers, and presentations that showcase FatHopes Energy’s sustainability progress and innovations.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with global best practices and continuous improvement in sustainability initiatives.
  7. Support marketing and communications teams in developing sustainability-related content for external publications, conferences, and social media.
  8. Identify and establish partnerships with key industry players, research institutions, and NGOs to enhance the company’s sustainability positioning.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
  2. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively advocate for sustainability initiatives.
  4. Knowledge of ISCC compliance, ESG reporting, and sustainability certification frameworks is a plus.
  5. Passionate about sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental impact.
  6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple research projects, and provide actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience in a sustainability-focused role within the energy, environmental, or corporate sector.
  2. Familiarity with sustainability reporting tools, life cycle assessments, and carbon footprint analysis.
  3. Experience engaging with policymakers, NGOs, or industry organizations on sustainability matters.
