Sustainability Executive Officer

As a Sustainability Executive Officer at Ladang Mills Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the company's commitment to environmental sustainability. This full-time position will involve implementing and monitoring sustainable practices across the Mill and Estate operations.

Based in palm oil mill in Sandakan, Sabah.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To handle sustainability and occupational safety and health (OSH) related matters including documentation and implementation of sustainability and OSH requirement at Mill and Estate.
2. To assist internal and external assessment of various sustainability and OSH standards.
3. To address Sustainability and OSH issues.
4. Conduct internal audits of estate and mill.
5. Conduct external stakeholders meetings.
6. Conduct internal stakeholder meetings for estate and mill.
7. Conduct site visits in estate and mill.
8. Arrange environmental site visits with appointed consultants.
9. Arrange audits with Certification Bodies.
10. Any other tasks as assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health/Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science or related disciplines.
2. Possession of OSH Coordinator competency certificate from DOSH is an added advantage.
3. Prior experience and knowledge in the palm oil industry is an added advantage.
4. Knowledge of MSPO 2.0.
5. Knowledge in environment.
6. Knowledge in safety and health.
7. Knowledge of Malaysian law, especially Sabah state law.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
9. Multitasking, fast learner, independent, and self-motivated.
10. Possess a valid B2 Driving License.
11. Able to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
12. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
13. Willing to work in a palm oil mill and live in a plantation environment.
