POSITION: Software Support Technician I

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

An engineering team that specializes in the development of world-class digital two-way subscriber radios for the mission-critical market.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Work with the development team on testing new feature for the product.
2. Execute sanity and regression tests.
3. To meet the project's deliverable and timeline requirements in a highly dynamic environment.
4. To setup, collect, and record data for CP/KPI.
5. Programming of mobile and portable radios.
6. Organize, prepare, pack and ship radios.
7. Issue duplication including setup, configuration, reproduction, and log capturing.
8. Department inventory tracking & procurement, housekeeping.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
2. Preferably with 1 - 3 years of working experience in a software development team.
3. Fresh graduates / Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
4. Experience in communication devices or consumer products will be an added advantage.
5. Ability to work independently and communicate well (verbally & in written form) across different functional teams.
6. Flexible to accommodate short-notice work arrangements due to project/business needs.
7. Candidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

- Contract duration: 1 year (renewable depends on business needs and worker's performance)
