Supply Chain Planner

About the role

We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Planner to join our team at FERROTEC SILICON (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing, transport and logistics environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimise inventory, production, and distribution processes
2. Analysing demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules to identify and address potential supply chain bottlenecks
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate the flow of materials and finished products
4. Providing support and guidance to production, logistics, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a supply chain planning or operations role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
5. We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
