This is a role where you will be overseeing the Supply Chain, Procurement, and Order Fulfilment departments in Malaysia. This is a key leadership role where you will drive efficiency, provide high-level guidance, and collaborate extensively with other department heads in the Malaysia office and with regional counterparts.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and recommending policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as implementing key performance indicators to ensure cost-effectiveness and improve delivery performance.
Analyzing demand planning performance, addressing issues, and coordinating with suppliers on order fulfilment, backlogs, and capacity needs.
Review and monitor market trends and regulations, aligning with industry standards
Oversee recruitment and development of teams in supply chain, planning, and procurement, ensuring the right balance of skills through training initiatives.
Foster collaboration across supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and regulatory functions to enhance schedule performance, compliance, and on-time delivery.
Conduct regular operational reviews, ensuring quick issue resolution and performance improvement, while identifying internal opportunities for continuous improvement
Manage relations with external stakeholders such as 3PL providers, ensuring service delivery standards are met and contracts are managed efficiently.
Aligning product and operational needs with demand forecasts, production capacity, inventory levels, and financial goals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent
Proven experience in supply chain related field, with managerial experience as a minimum requirement
Experience in the healthcare industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or consumer healthcare would be a plus
Strong sense of people leadership and development, with cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
A drive for continuous improvement, in people and processes alike
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
