Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive efficiencies while ensuring high standards of service and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Supply Chain Management:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    2. Evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  2. Procurement and Vendor Management:
    1. Oversee procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and supplier relationships.
    2. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain high-quality standards.
  3. Inventory and Warehouse Management:
    1. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking.
    2. Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline storage, handling, and distribution processes.
  4. Logistics and Transportation:
    1. Manage logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
    2. Establish and maintain relationships with transportation providers.
  5. Team Leadership:
    1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
    2. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    1. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    2. Prepare and present reports to senior management on supply chain performance and key metrics.
  7. Risk Management and Compliance:
    1. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
    2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  8. Technology and Innovation:
    1. Stay updated on emerging supply chain technologies and implement tools to improve operations.
    2. Drive initiatives for digital transformation and process automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication in English; Mandarin speaker will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management in supply chains.
