Job description

Position: Supply Chain Lead

Location: Sepang/Putrajaya

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience Level: 5-7 years in aviation industry with minimum 5 years in aircraft maintenance and/or airworthiness domain.

Flexible work scope in the frame of aircraft manufacturing or maintenance supply chain and customer support field based on project and development needs of the company. Scope covers various aircraft types (fixed wing and rotary wing), typical common activities including but not limited to below listed:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational as aviation supply chain specialist for various customers:
  • Front desk operator accountable for customer services such as order management, issue escalations & follow-up, customer satisfaction review etc.
  • Logistic coordinator responsible for warehousing/storage management and global transportation expertise including customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Scheduling planner capable to design and monitor supply chain support SLA taking into consideration customer's maintenance planning, specific technical requirement, logistic constraint, and supplier SPT/TAT.
  • Technical record / tech data expert to manage data transfer from maintenance documentations to MIS, maintain MIS data integrity and generate documentations.
  • Workshop management to ensure overall performance of repair network, support repairer to achieve SLA or develop required capability, manage blockage such as spare shortage or exchange etc.
  • Supplier management by taking lead on supplier portfolio management including contractual obligation, O&A, warranty management and deliverable performance.
  • Multifunctioning dispatcher leading multi stakeholder to solve operational issues such as quarantine, AOG, new EIS setup etc.
  • Administrator as team leader or manager; or Operational as technical support project engineer for various customers:
  • Technical focal point with operator / MRO to assess, review and resolve in-service issues relevant to project deliverable, resource development and/or scope extension.
  • Responsible for project team resource requirements such as skill trades, manhour, team competency, staff turn around management and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for project scheduling, coordinate with multifunctional team to execute maintenance activities as per schedule and/or customer KPI.
  • Coordinate work sharing between customer, MRO, service providers, SME and operators.
  • Manage additional work order. Manage sub-contractor.
  • Coordinate project site facilities and supports to ensure meeting local and regulatory requirements, on time and on cost.
  • Internal trainer for maintenance engineering division to support new recruits in Asia:
  • Contribute in building training materials for LMS & Quiz Manager, Skill Matrix.
  • Be mentor / trainer for new recruits in Asia, support training for SO'MEGA team.
  • Participate in suggesting, proposal and/or building of training programs related to maintenance support or as requested by different division within SONOVISION-ORTEC group.
  • Support as a trainer whenever requested.
  • Project coordinator & Project consultant for FHS:
  • On-site support for various projects.
  • Operational and/or advisory services.
  • Industrialization and anticipation support for topics related to aviation supply chain.
  • Business development:
  • Contribute to creating new services products for local/regional customer needs.
  • Preparation of marketing material such as presentation slides.
  • Participate in customer lobbying activities.
  • Contribute to building customer database.
  • Contribute to growth of business activities via market survey, statistics collection, trending analysis, customer expectations studies etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
  • 5-7 years in supply chain under aviation industry and had direct involvement aircraft manufacturing and/or maintenance supplies for component or services.
  • Aircraft manufacturing or MRO operations experience. Field experience in aviation spare supply and procurement or customer support.
  • Mastering of various OEM tools or applications in consulting various reference manuals, engineering drawings, any other approved maintenance documentation, and commercial documentations.
  • Knowledge and experience Part 145 and Airworthiness Regulations is required.
  • Components, standard parts, aero-structure, consumables, and expendables supply chain knowledge.
  • Logistics expertise in managing aircraft parts, bulky equipments, GSE, import & export control, chemical handling etc.
  • Experience on customer interface and communication, customer oriented.
  • Advanced level of English, technical writing skill. Able to work under pressure, good organization skills (time management, filing & records, reporting).
