To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead logistics, procurement, inventory, and demand planning at a regional level.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to oversee the entire supply chain ecosystem, ensuring efficiency across procurement, logistics, forecasting, inventory control, and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain & Distribution Management
- Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to ensure smooth movement of goods across the region.
- Oversee international logistics, import/export procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with freight partners, 3PL providers, and vendors to streamline supply chain operations.
- Maintain high on-time delivery rates, while balancing cost control and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, driving improvements where needed.
2. Procurement & Supplier Relations
- Lead procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and third-party manufactured goods.
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee inventory planning and replenishment, ensuring that stock levels align with business needs and market demand.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure procurement processes support production and sales requirements.
3. Production & Inventory Planning
- Manage S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) to align forecasting, production capacity, and inventory levels.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to create efficient production schedules that account for demand fluctuations.
- Implement inventory control measures to reduce excess stock while preventing shortages.
- Ensure that new product launches and modifications are factored into supply chain planning.
4. Warehouse & Stock Control
- Oversee storage, warehouse efficiency, and stock accuracy across different locations.
- Implement best practices in inventory management, focusing on cost reduction and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations and operational efficiency standards.
5. Leadership & Business Strategy
- Lead and develop supply chain teams, including procurement, planning, and inventory management functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for cost savings and operational enhancements.
- Ensure alignment of supply chain objectives with broader business goals.
- Provide training and mentorship to build a high-performance supply chain team.
Industry: F&B Manufacturing
Salary : Up to RM 25,000
Key Requirements:
Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
- Background in multinational companies, MUST be within the food, beverage, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies.
Technical & Leadership Skills:
- Expertise in logistics, inventory control, procurement, and international trade regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier negotiations, and optimize operational workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to interact with senior leadership, suppliers, and logistics partners.
