Supply and Demand Planning Manager

The Supply and Demand Planning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of supply and demand within the business. This role involves demand forecasting and supply planning - optimizing inventory levels and meeting product availability targets. The role requires managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Management:
   1. Lead and ensure adherence to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
   2. Prepare monthly demand forecasts using historical data layered with marketing and sales initiatives.
   3. Work closely with sales, marketing, and sales to gather insights on promotions, seasonality, and new product launches.
   4. Meet demand forecast accuracy and forecast bias targets.
2. Supply Planning & Management:
   1. Develop supply plans to meet product availability (PA) target.
   2. Optimize inventory levels.
   3. Manage and monitor suppliers’ deliveries to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) targets.
3. Inventory Management:
   1. Maintain optimal inventory levels across various locations to meet PA targets.
   2. Monitor inventory levels, highlight overstocked inventory (risks of expiring stock) and seek marketing and sales assistance for programs to run-down stocks.
   3. Highlight understock/out-of-stock and raise options to mitigate (e.g., airfreight).
4. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Reporting & Analysis:
   1. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on KPIs such as PA, inventory levels, OTIF, etc.
   2. Provide actionable insights to senior management based on analysis of data, trends, and market conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply and demand planning, preferably in the Direct Selling or FMCG industry.
3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, inventory control, and demand forecasting methodologies.
4. Proficient in using supply chain planning software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel, or advanced analytics tools).
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
