Supervisor - Dipping (Production)

Job Responsibilities:

• Check and maintain good housekeeping in production, tumbling, glove storage area, and factory premises.
• Organise and allocate machine operators to Group Leaders for daily tasks.
• Organise rest time for Group Leaders.
• Provide on-the-job training to newly recruited workers (Group Leaders or Machine Operators).
• Record training or guidance in Employee Training Record.
• Ensure Group Leaders perform daily tasks according to written work instructions or standard operating procedures.
• Report unresolved problems to Executive or Engineer/Manager.
• Check and recommend actions for absent workers (Group Leaders or Machine Operators).
• Enforce company rules and regulations.
• Address problems that cannot be resolved by subordinates (both product quality and worker issues).
• Check and verify reports submitted by Group Leaders and take necessary actions for compliance.
• Check QAI inspection results and take necessary actions to resolve production line issues.
• Ensure higher production output with low rejection rates.
• Advise Executive/Engineer or Manager on lines that need to be stopped for cleaning.
• Coordinate with engineering department for heat requirements for the lines.
• Check latex, coagulant, polymer, and powdering supply and change when required.
• Ensure equipment such as chiller, chiller pump, hot water pump, air compressor, dust collector, tumbling machines, and related equipment are functioning properly.
• Ensure parameters or specifications for coagulant, polymer, powdering, latex, and chlorination are within limits.
• Report breakdowns to Engineering and C&I departments.
• Conduct equipment and materials inspections as per checklist.
• Coordinate with Former, Tumbling, and QCP personnel for smooth operations.
• Report overall production status to Production Executive/Engineer or Manager daily.
• Coordinate with Compounding Supervisor for any changes or deviations in chemicals or raw materials.
• Ensure good housekeeping and proper handling, storage, and preservation of products in all related areas.
• Attend monthly supervisor meetings/discussions.
• Evaluate and complete appraisals for Group Leaders and Operators.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or relevant studies preferred.
• SPM leavers with supervisory experience are encouraged to apply. Fresh diploma holders will also be considered.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise a team of Group Leaders in daily job responsibilities.
• Willing to work on rotation shifts (7am-7pm/7pm-7am).
• Willing to work at Sepang, Selangor factory.
