Supervise and assist subcontractors in meeting project objectives and schedules.
Ensure compliance with project ethics policies and construction standards.
Act as the point of contact for timely handovers between disciplines, intervening and assisting subcontractors as necessary.
Oversee structural fabrication, modular fabrication, assembly, modifications, welding, coatings, and scheduling in compliance with contract requirements.
Ensure adherence to construction methods, lifting procedures, and method statements for the most efficient execution.
Interface with Quality and Engineering Teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
Support the final walkdown process by assisting in preparing punch lists and carryover work packs.
Establish daily contact with subcontractor supervision/management teams and maintain rapport.
Monitor and report work activities, manpower requirements, and resource allocations to meet completion targets.
Prepare and issue daily, weekly, and monthly progress/weather/manpower reports as required.
Support and participate in all HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) initiatives, including Injury and Incident-Free (IIF) initiatives, Behavior-Based Observation (BBO) programs, Safety Walkdowns, Management Walkdowns, and Toolbox Meetings.
Comprehend and enforce safety policies and procedures, setting an example for subcontractors while ensuring they practice safe work habits.
Prepare, locate, and organize laydown areas for project material arrival, segregation, marking, cutting activities, and material inspection processes.
Ensure all necessary temporary consumable stores, equipment stores, and lifting equipment storage areas are set up and maintained at the job site.
Verify that all equipment used for fabrication is calibrated, serviced, and functional before job commencement, ensuring calibration certificates and stickers are properly displayed.
Ensure that all mobile equipment, including cranes, forklifts, excavators, lorries, and other vehicles, undergo inspections, registration, and approvals from the Facilities and HSE departments.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor in structural fabrication and assembly.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and contract scope of work.
Background in Welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Ocean Engineering, and Structural disciplines.
Experience in offshore construction and offshore EPC projects.
Preferably has FLNG experience and background.
Proficient in English with excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate between different disciplines and subcontractors.
Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to project execution.
Experience in quality control and compliance with engineering specifications.
