About the role

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Strategy & Operations Specialist to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and optimising our operational efficiency to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations organization collaborates with our Cloud sales organization to develop go-to-market strategies, deliver business insights through analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment, and drive strategic partnerships and initiatives.

We focus on aligning company priorities with daily operations and fostering the development of early-stage ideas into growth initiatives.

In the role of Sales Operations Specialist at Google Cloud Taiwan, you will be a crucial contributor to the success of our sales team and the overall expansion of our business.

You will be tasked with streamlining sales processes, analyzing data to uncover trends and opportunities, and delivering strategic insights to enhance performance.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a strategy, operations or consulting role, preferably in the technology industry
  2. Proven track record of driving successful strategic and operational initiatives
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyse and interpret data
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  5. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
  6. Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  7. Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to the sales team, including account management, opportunity tracking, and pipeline analysis.
  2. Data Analysis: Analyze and provide in-depth insights into business performance and core performance metrics, and support the preparation of weekly/monthly business reviews.
  3. Process Optimization: Develop and implement processes to improve sales efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
  4. Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and deliver training programs, tools, and resources to enhance sales effectiveness.
  5. Cross Function Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners such as Support, Vertical Solutions, Demand Execution, Revenue Programs, Finance, Marketing, and HR.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the technology industry.
  3. Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  4. Experience with various analytical tools, with working knowledge of SQL and other advanced data analysis tools.
  5. Experience with high productivity and meeting deadlines, with the ability to directly take responsibility.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Knowledge of corporate finance and/or corporate strategy and different industries' business models.
  8. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with effective time-management and prioritization skills.
  9. Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
