Store Assistant Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Store Assistant to help manage our inventory and ensure the smooth operation of the storeroom. This role involves receiving new shipment, order processing, stitching and mending, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and orderly storeroom environment.

Store Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Handling: Receive, unpack, and organize new shipments
- Order Processing and Replacement: Fulfil customer new orders and replacements after availability of usable stock
- Manage Return Stock: Receive, system update, handle inactive and disposal of garment that identified as damaged for all returned garments
- Stitching and Mending Operations: Good sewing skills to perform repairs, alterations, badge stitching and has working knowledge of sewing machine mechanics
- Stock Organization: Organizing stock for easy access
- Inventory Tracking: Ensure accurate records of inventory, noting any discrepancies, consistent stock count activity
- Housekeeping: Keep workstation and surrounding area organized in a clean, neat and orderly condition at all times
- Tools and Equipment: Maintain and manage storeroom tools and equipment
- Collaboration: Work closely and maintain good working relationship with other team members and those in another department
- Occupational Health and Safety: Maintain high care for the health and safety of self and others
- Others Store Operations: As instructed by the Department Managers
What We Expect from You as a Store Assistant
- Basic education or SPM
- Sewing skills
- Previous experience in store operations or a similar role is advantageous
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- Physical stamina to lift and move stock items
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
- Collaboration skills and ability to take directions from store managers
- Willing to perform as a team member
- Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
