The Role
You Will Be Responsible For:

• Installation, configuration, and administration of VMAX3, VMAX AF, PowerMax, VNX, Unity, PowerStore, PowerScale/Isilon, Recoverpoint (RPA), and Connectrix MDS Products.

• Dell EMC Symmetrix/VMAX/PowerMax, preferred storage operations and management.
• Dell EMC VNX/Unity/PowerStore, preferred storage operations and management.
• Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon, preferred storage operations and management.
• SAN Directors (Cisco and Brocade), preferred operations and management.
• Networking/NAS/File, preferred operations and management.
• Replication (Array-based Replication Technology), preferred operations and management. Other replication techniques like RPA are an added advantage.
• Timefinder (Array-based Business Continuous Volume/Copy/Protection), preferred operations and management.
• 3+ years of experience in Dell EMC Storage Products.
• MUST have a minimum of Level 1 and L2 storage operation experience.
• MUST have a minimum of Level 1 UNIX/Windows Server operation experience.
• Strong knowledge in areas such as Block, File/NAS, Recoverpoint, SRDF, and Timefinder.
• Performance troubleshooting skills (knowledge with tools such as Unisphere Performance Manager and VNX Performance Manager).
• Key knowledge in areas such as LUN provisioning, LVM, VxVM, and ZFS/SVM.
• Knowledge of databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and Oracle RAC is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Data Domain would be an advantage.
• Strong product knowledge and technical ability.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to work odd hours, weekends, and public holidays as many customer changes occur during this period.
