Job Role

Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing and overseeing production processes to enhance efficiency, product quality and cost effectiveness. He/She should have a deep understanding of machining operations, continuous improvement methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities Include:

1. Serve as the Process Engineer for Machining Operations, involving CNC machines, turning machines, and secondary processes.
2. Establish manufacturing methods and work instructions to ensure operators/machinists follow proper procedures according to standards and safety requirements.
3. Conduct training for operators/machinists on new work instructions or improvements.
4. Investigate and implement corrective actions for quality issues related to processes.
5. Lead and manage improvement projects to enhance yield, quality, and machine utilization.
6. Initiate and participate in continuous improvement processes and 6S practices to increase productivity and maintain safety, particularly in meeting departmental KPIs.
7. Support NPI by analyzing data and developing work instructions to ensure smooth integration with production.
8. Collaborate with the CAD/CAM team to improve quality, yield, and cycle time.
9. Ensure proper setup and use of equipment, tools, jigs/fixtures, and parts according to established procedures.
10. Support daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing or Mechanical)

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: CGPA >3.0 preferred

Additional Skills: Lean Six Sigma, 8D or other equivalent problem solving skills and certification is an added advantage.
