Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for driving reporting & statutory central compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As a Statutory Specialist, you are responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate and compliant statutory financial statements. This role is essential to ensure financial compliance and optimize the efficiency of the statutory process.

As a Statutory Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the execution of compliant and efficient statutory financial audits
• Evaluating, maintaining and improving the efficiency of financial and statutory accounting processes
• Reviewing statutory financial statements and audit pack for accuracy and compliance with local statutory accounting standards and regulations
• Executing on audit requests by working closely with functional team, operations, tax, legal, company secretary and finance
• Investigating any audit issues to allow resolution with supporting documentation
• Monitoring analytical support, and variance analysis for S2G Walk

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's Level in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (ACCA/CPA/ etc).
• Have 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Finance, and experience in Statutory is an added advantage. (Individual Contributor)
• Possess good knowledge and understanding of Statutory and IFRS/US GAAP Accounting.
• Have good analytical and inter-personal skills.
• Be able to speak English with good oral and written communication skills.
• Have knowledge or experience in SAP, Hyperion Oracle, and MS Office.
