Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, including process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.

As a Statutory Senior Analyst, you will be the focal point for external auditors in Baker Hughes. You will be responsible for US GAAP deliverables to the Consolidations team and Product Company Controllers, working alongside a group of professionals supporting various financial functions centralized at the Global Finance Organization.

As a Statutory Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing Management and Statutory financial statements and coordinating audit requests by working closely with Functional teams, Business, Tax, Legal, and Operations.
  • Providing financial statements and audit packs to auditors in compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives.
  • Performing analytical reviews and variance analysis for S2G Walk, assessing the quality of data and collaborating with the team to solve issues.
  • Extracting insights from data, providing root cause analysis, and making recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing reporting deliverables to Consolidation & Reporting with quality and punctuality in accordance with US GAAP reporting.
  • Performing under minimal supervision, evaluating, maintaining, and improving the efficiency of financial processes.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a BSc from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA.
  • Have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of working experience in a Big 4 Audit Firm and in statutory finance planning/analysis.
  • Possess good knowledge and understanding of Statutory, IFRS/US GAAP, and India GAAP Accounting.
  • Have experience managing Internal Financial Control audits, Chartered Accountants Certification, Foreign Exchange Management Act, local India Secretarial advisory, and Tax audits.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal skills with a strong team spirit, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Have knowledge or experience in SAP, Hyperion Oracle, and performing quick analysis on SAP cross-functional analysis.
