Emerson Staff Software Renewals Specialist in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  1. Drive renewals of Services through phone and email interactions with customers.
  2. Improve renewal sales strategy to boost customer interactions.
  3. Respond to inbound requests in a timely manner.
  4. Find opportunities for sales expansion (Multi-year renewal, VLA).
  5. Document activities (SFDC, Oracle) and collaborate with sales teams.
  6. Provide constructive feedback on areas for improvement.
  7. Drive and ensure Multi-Seat agreement renewals to maintain and grow our Software Services agreements pipeline.
  8. Ensure end-to-end process (orders/quotes & contract management) has consistent quality and accuracy using NI Systems supporting our internal and external customers.
  9. Collaborate and work as a trusted advisor for collaborators, providing support and adding customer value in important revenue generation conversations with customers.
  10. Support external and internal customers regarding order status, contract management, SW services troubleshooting, and any other general SW Services inquiries.
  11. Develop SW services and technical knowledge to ensure customer inquiries are attended promptly.
  12. Engage customers using NI SW renewals strategy through calls and emails ensuring that our customer's agreements are renewed on time and their entitlements are maintained and grow without interruptions.
  13. Communicate actively and effectively with multiple NI departments to ensure customer success (Agreements, AEs, EA Marketing, Sales, EA Training Support, Customers).

For This Role, You Will Need:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, sales, or a related field.
  2. Language Skills: Proficient in Mandarin and English; proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication with customers and internal collaborators.
  3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer services, software services renewal sales, engineering/technical, account management, or related roles.
  4. Renewal Management Skills: Proven record in leading software services contract renewals, meeting or exceeding renewal targets. Strong understanding of renewal processes, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
  5. Customer Focus: Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  6. Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence collaborators at various levels of the organization.
  7. Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, lead multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
  9. Achievement-focused: Proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales goals and performance metrics. Strong business insight and a focus on driving revenue growth.
  10. Problem-solving: Innovative thinker with a proactive and goal-oriented attitude towards overcoming challenges. Ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective strategies to overcome them.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  1. Relevant certifications in sales or customer relationship management are a plus.
  2. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
  3. Experience in the technology industry is highly desirable.
