STAFF NURSE

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Nurse Manager / Assistant Nurse Manager in the smooth running of the dialysis unit.
2. Implementation, management and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
3. Direct and supervise nursing activities related to patients’ care.
4. Maintain the optimum level of patients’ care with allocated staff and resources.
5. Cannulating, initiating and discontinuing dialysis.
6. Assist in counseling and education of patients in drugs, fluid, diet management and blood test results.
7. Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with physicians, patients, families and other departmental staff.
8. Assist in developing and implementing unit policies, procedures, and standards of nursing care.
9. Ensure patient old records are filed according to ISO requirements and kept in the respective place.
10. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, requisitioning repairs as needed.
11. Preparation of Heparin injection.
12. Setting up and priming of dialysers and lines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board.
• Possess valid practicing certificate.
• No work experience required.

• Expected start date for role: 20 October 2024.
• Expected salary: RM2,000 - RM2,500 per month.
