Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Productivity improvement project: Lead in cost saving projects such as Productivity improvement, cycle time improvement, MMR improvement, etc. to meet company goals.
2. Capacity planning and analysis to meet the volume demand and maximize the plant utilization.
3. Maintain IE database and lead on the IE related system project.
4. Time study and time standards: Perform time study data collection and analysis, continuous improvement based on Lean concept.
5. Define production layout to ensure high efficiency and ergonomic for Lean operation.
6. Coordinate in tool relocation & re-layout activities.
7. Resources planning for DL & IDL based on production volume targets.
8. Carried out material flow & process flow analysis. Study and explore opportunity to improve current process flow, material flow, line balancing, etc.….
9. Validate automation performance and capability.
10. Support IE in validating offline process activity such as conversion time, kitting time, tooling preparation time, etc. and opportunity to improve the offline activities cycle time.
11. Collaborate with Production, QA, Process, and Automation team to achieve Operations KPI’s.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

1. Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. E.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or others related Engineering disciplinary.
2. Working experience 3-7 years.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
4. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

1. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other analysis tools.
2. Familiar with AutoCAD.
3. Knowledge in LEAN & Six Sigma is an added advantage.
