Meet The Team

The incumbent is responsible for performing all the duties of a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. Performs tasks with greater scope and minimal oversight from the Supervisor. May assist or supervise other Quality Engineers, technicians and/or administrative personnel in the performance of their duties. May also supervise and administer specific aspects of the quality system. The incumbent will be systematic, highly organized and articulate, and work in a team environment. Job tasks require interfacing with external suppliers and internal manufacturing, engineering, regulatory, quality, and materials personnel, and senior management. A positive attitude is important while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and dealing with shifting priorities.

Where You Come In

  • You will design and maintain the supplier quality management system per policies and procedures.
  • You will provide quality guidance to other departments.
  • You will perform supplier qualification audits, monitor performance, provide metrics, and manage corrective actions.
  • You will chair the Supplier Review Committee (SRC) to ensure transparency and cross-functional communication.
  • You will establish and maintain the Supplier Audit Schedule and ensure compliance.
  • You will serve as the supplier quality representative during audits and review supplier documentation as needed.
  • You will support design teams by assisting with design inputs, component/process design, and verification.
  • You will apply Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and statistical techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
  • You will possess knowledge of quality regulations (21CFR Part 820, ISO 13485) and auditing processes.
  • You will work effectively in a team with minimal supervision and apply proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Oracle, Agile, MiniTab).
What Makes You Successful

  • You have a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (preferred).
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • You have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • You have the knowledge, skill, and/or ability as listed in the job requirements.
  • You have the ability to speak Mandarin (highly desired).

Experience And Education Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
